Prumus Cheals Weeping Cherry
Prunus ‘Kiku-shidare-zakura’
A great, grafted variety of Cherry. The pendulous branches go upright a little then hang down gracefully from the graft which is grafted onto a 1.2 0r 1.8m standard, which means the trunk will never grow taller than 1.2 or 1.8m with just the branches going up and then hanging down.
Young leaves are a reddish-bronze colour, becoming green when mature. Autumn foliage is in shades of yellow, orange and scarlet.
Flowers- Wonderful rosy-pink blossoms in large clusters are borne early to mid spring giving a wonderful display. One of the later flowering of the weeping cherries.
